Good afternoon all, today is a new day the sun is shining spring is here and I'll be getting my grill/smoker prepped. First thing I'm cooking is a brisket for my dad's bday!!. On to my post, it has taken me a long time but I finally found a path that not only helps me but makes me happy ( Norse paganism)!! A lot of people immediately think that It has sometbing to do with Nazism. been called one a few times, but it doesn't, I have made many good friends on this path. Learned meditation communing with the Gods I have a personal connection with. It's pushed me to get my health in order once I get a ( Ventral hernia and back taken care off I'm hitting the gym. In the mean time Im eating better etc.. all of this has opened my mind on how to more mentally stable. Will explain in another post.

Having put out a blog on the difference between beard oil and beard balm, I'm wondering what people typically use.? For me, it typically depends on the length of the beard. When I maintain a shorter beard, beard oil does the trick with keeping my skin and beard moisturized, conditioned, and nourished. As I grow it out more than 2 - 3 months I start finding the need to use beard butter or balm. The wax does a better job of weighing down my beard hair, as well as holding its shape. What do you prefer and why?

At first, I was unsure what it meant, but over time, I have come to understand its significance, both from a spiritual and practical perspective. The phrase is derived from a biblical passage in James 2:14-26, where James discusses the relationship between faith and good deeds. In this passage, James argues that genuine faith will naturally lead to good works and that faith without works is "dead." Essentially, he says that a person's faith is only as genuine as the good deeds accompanying it. From a recovery standpoint, this passage is particularly relevant, as it emphasizes the importance of taking action to reinforce our faith. Recovery requires more than just a willingness to change; it requires commitment, effort, and action. We must take responsibility for our recovery and engage in the necessary work to make it a reality. Without action, our faith is incomplete, and our recovery is incomplete.
